The GKEPF JMF U19 Cup

The flagship JMF U19 Cup, in partnership with SANParks and GKEPF and its member reserves, brings together local youth football and netball teams from Bushbuckridge, in a step to promote social cohesion through sport, give opportunities to talented players from underprivileged backgrounds, and encourage positive relationships between people and conservation.

Supporting schools

The U19 Soccer and Netball Cup proudly upholds a tradition of giving back, with all champions donating 10% of their prize money to a school or community of their choice. In 2024, the 2023 champions honoured this commitment: Manyeleti FC, the male football champions, donated their 10% to Manyeleti Primary School, while the female champions, Superstrikers Ladies FC, donated theirs to Matsamo Primary School. This continued spirit of community upliftment is what makes the JMF U19 Cup truly special.

2,000 lunches, 200 pairs of school shoes and 100 stationery packs were provided to Matsamo and Manyeleti Primary Schools. 32 school uniforms were delivered to Mafemani Secondary School.
