The James Mayinga Foundation is a registered South African Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) as set out in section 30(3) of the Income Tax Act No 58 of 1962 and as such is exempt from income tax in terms of section 10(1)(cN) of the Act. PBO number: 930 072 149.

The JMF is approved in terms of section 18A(1)(a) of the Act and donations to the organisation are tax deductible in the hands of the donors in terms of the Act. Section 18A tax certificates are issued in terms of the Act and on receipt of organisational tax and company details.
